Can Heinrich’s Achilles Tendon take him down?

New Mexico Democrat leaders may look the same, but there are NM’s Santa Fe Democrats and NM’s Washington Democrats. They may have started out at the same place, but their power and money come from different sources, and they do not always get along, such as Martin Heinrich and Deb Haaland.

Santa Fe Democrats such as Secretary of Interior Deb Haaland, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, Senate Pro Tem Mimi Stewart, and indicted NM House Speaker Sheryl Williams Stapleton derive their power and money from and around the Round House. “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” is the motto of the Santa Fe Democrat. NM AG never asked who of the Sante Fe Democrats were entertained by Jeffery Epstein’s young women at the Zorro Ranch. The New York AG uncovered the kickback scheme of the Richardson Administration for funding his presidential campaign. Michelle Lujan Grisham silently removed indicted democrat ex-NM House Speaker Sheryl Williams Stapleton’s name from the African American Building at the NM Expo.

Our Washington Democrats, such as Senators Martin Heinrich and Ben Ray Lujan, Congressmembers Melanie Stansbury, Teresa Ledger Fernandez, and Gabrial Vasquez derive their power and money from and around the Capitol Building. Democrats Heinrich and Lujan owe their Senate Seat to Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer (we heard Chuck Schumer informed Albuquerque Mayor Marty Chavez that Heinrich, not him, was chosen to be NM's next US Senator). Our Congressional delegation repays them with consistent votes when they need it, not when New Mexicans need it (keeping the New Mexico/Mexico border corridor open for drugs and cartels). The big money flows to the Senators via their spouse's work with Washington lobbyists, and Heinrich is no different.

Senator Heinrich and Deb Haaland have their sights set on the New Mexico Governor’s office. However, I do not believe those two ambitious individuals intend to end their political careers at the Round House. I expect a “Presidential Fairy” dances in Heinrichs’s head.” But what is dancing in Haaland's head is anybody's guess.

What hurdles stand before Heinrich?

Martin Heinrich's spouse could be a spoiler for him. She was a director for Weber Shandwick (a global strategic communications, marketing, and lobbying firm near the Capitol Building). With her salary, they enrolled their two sons in Washington’s most prestigious private school, where they were safe from us, “The Most Dangerous State in America.”

As Heinrich prepares to run for Governor, he and his spouse purchased a home in Santa Fe (in hopes of once again being considered a Santa Fe Democrat). His spouse is now the executive director of Santa Fe's own Meow Wolf philanthropic foundation. Are the Heinrichs responsible for Meow Wolf becoming a Delaware Corporation and laying off one hundred sixty-five artisans?

Every New Mexican knows at least one person who has been a victim of a crime, murder, or drug overdose. That is why our state has been labeled by US News as “The Most Dangerous State” in America, and Martin Heinrich is responsible. He has failed to secure the New Mexico / Mexico Border consequently.

  • The worst of the worst transnational crime organizations (cartels and gangs) members cross our border. I have heard firsthand from ranchers and hunters who have crossed paths with the cartel. Hunters now choose to hunt elsewhere; ranchers hunker down.
  • The worst of the worst cartels and gang members now make New Mexico their home away from home. NM State Police Officer Darian Jarrott was executed by one such cartel transplant.
  • The worst of the worst illegal drugs (Fentanyl) are brought across our border into our communities, fueling violence, property crimes, and drug overdoses. Last year, I attended funerals with two friends whose sons died of a Fentanyl overdose.

While Martin Heinrich is rubbing shoulders with the powerful and wealthy and plotting his path to the White House, the hardworking people of New Mexico are either burying their young or helping them leave the state.

Even if Martin Heinrich can join the Santa Fe Democrats, he is still unfit to serve as our next US Senator or Governor because he is responsible for our state becoming “The Most Dangerous State in America.”
