An undeniable truth in my world is that politicians lie to us. We know they lie to us. We know when they claim they couldn't keep their campaign promises, blaming the other party, that they are lying to us again. And yet we continue to vote for them. Because we don't want to believe they are lying to us. At least in the past, there might have been some modicum of truth to the lies they told us, justifying our decision to vote for them again. Nowadays, the political machine and corporate propaganda media don't even pretend to care about the lies. It's like catching your naked spouse in bed with someone else and believing that it really isn't what it looks like.

Progressive white liberals are so happy to support Kamala Harris, the first black woman to run for the office of president. It makes them feel good about themselves, allowing them to tell their friend group they are virtuous and not at all racist. One problem, Kamala is not black. Her mother is East Indian, and her father is a white Jamaican. Judge Joe Brown, a good friend of her father's, knows her father quite well and tells us that he claims to be white and has no African heritage. But Joe needed a black running mate. As David Axelrod says, Elizabeth Warren & Gretchen Whitmer were the preferred choices, but after George Floyd and the rise of BLM, they needs someone that would appeal to the black voting bloc and the white progressives. Enter Kamala.

Move on to her record, a dismal failure as the Border Czar. Except, she was never the Border Czar nor was in charge of anything at the border. Despite the fact that every media outlet from Axios to CNN to the NY Times all called her the Border Czar. They all discussed how she was going to make a name for herself after being put in charge of the crisis at the border. Since it was a disaster, they have wiped their record clean or amended their stories from 2021 claiming it was an error in reporting. No one has addressed the fact that more people came to the US illegally from the countries where she was supposed to be addressing the underlying causes, than in the Obama and Trump administrations combined.

I've seen the GCMB claim she was the best candidate when she ran against Joe Biden for the 2020 nomination. She just couldn't get any traction because the media wasn't ready for a smart black woman. She was unknown. Again, she was a regular on the news talk show circuit promoting her Marxist ideas, often being described as being left of Bernie Sanders. The machine knew she could not get elected on the merits of her record, so she didn't even make it to the first primary. But now that same record is one that was 'ahead of its time, too high level for the average voter to understand.' All one has to do is watch her speak, there is nothing high level about her ideas.

Back to her record: she was put in charge of overseeing Joe's plan to bring high speed internet to rural and poor urban communities. $4.2 billion was allocated to build the infrastructure needed. In November the Brookings Institute published an analysis of the progress made in the previous 3 years. Not one mile of infrastructure had been built. Lots of subsidy money had been spent, but nothing on construction. The bureaucracy was holding things up and there was nothing Kamala or Joe could do about that. Of course not, it wasn't a political issue they could use to get re-elected. And no one is paying attention to that program.

Everything they are now saying about Kamala is directly contradictory to what they have said in the past. Because now she's a useful tool to keep them in power. Just like a mentally incapacitated Joe Biden, she will give them a puncher's chance of winning, whether by hook or by crook. And she will do what she is told if elected. She will appeal to those that don't care about records, or policies, or the truth. All they want is to keep Donald Trump out of office. They do not care about the consequences of their actions. They only care about power, virtue signaling, and destroying America.
