REGULAR MEETING –March 27, 2025
The Grant County Board of Commissioners will convene in a Regular Meeting on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Commission Meeting Room at the Grant County Administration Center, 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, NM 88061. The agenda for the Regular Meeting may be altered up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meeting; copies can be obtained from the County Manager's Office or viewed online at www.grantcountynm.gov. If you are an individual with a disability in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aide or service to attend or participate in the hearing or meeting, please contact the Grant County Manager at 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico. (575) 574-0000. At least one (1) week prior to the meeting or as soon as possible. The meeting will be live-streamed on the County's Facebook Page ( https://www.facebook.com/GrantCountyNM/ and available later as a recording on the County's website at www.grantcountynm.gov.

Arenas Valley, In The Total Amount Of Three Million Nine Hundred Eighteen
Thousand Three Hundred Ninety Dollars ($3,918,390), Evidencing An Obligation
Of The Borrower/Grantee To Utilize The Loan/Grant Amount Solely For The
Purpose Of Financing The Costs Of The Final Design, Right-Of-Way, Land
Acquisition And The Construction Of The Arenas Valley Road Phase Ii
Improvements, And Solely In The Manner Described In The Loan/Grant
Agreement; Providing For The Pledge And Payment Of The Loan Amount Of
Three Hundred Ninety-One Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-Nine Dollars
($391,839) Solely From Borrower/Grantee's Ordinance No. 204 Adopted On June 23, 1987, With An Effective Date Of January 1, 1988, Imposing A One-Eighth Of One Percent (0.125%) Increment Of The County Gross Receipts Tax Which The Borrower/Grantee Pledges To The Payment Of The Loan Payments, Which County Gross Receipts Tax Has Been De- Earmarked And Is Now Enforceable Under NMSA 1978, § 7- 20\E-9, As Amended And Acceptance Of A Grant Amount Of Three Million Five Hundred Twenty-Six Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-One Dollars ($3,526,551); Certifying That The Loan/Grant Amount, Together With Other Funds Available To The Borrower/Grantee, Is Sufficient To Complete The Project; Approving The Form Of And Other Details Concerning The Loan/Grant Agreement; Ratifying Actions Heretofore Taken; Repealing All Action Inconsistent With This Resolution; And Authorizing The Taking Of Other Actions In Connection With The Execution And Delivery Of The Loan/Grant Agreement.

Financing The Costs Of Phase II Construction Of Little Walnut Road Including
Road Widening, Bicycle Lanes And Multi-Use Paved Paths, And Solely In The
Manner Described In The Loan/Grant Agreement; Providing For The Pledge And
Payment Of The Loan Amount Of Six Hundred Eighty-Six Thousand Three
Hundred Forty Dollars ($686,340) Solely From Borrower/Grantee's Ordinance
No. 204 Adopted On June 23, 1987, With An Effective Date Of January 1, 1988,
Imposing A One-Eighth Of One Percent (0.125%) Increment Of The County Gross

The Pledge And Payment Of The Loan Amount Of Two Hundred Thirty Four
Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-One Dollars ($234,321) Solely From
Borrower/Grantee's Ordinance No. 204Adopted On June 23, 1987, With An

Grant County, New Mexico, Whereby Authorizes Filing of An Application and
Necessary Documents for Funding Assistance Through the New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission (NMISC) For Funding from the New Mexico Unit Fund for
Water Utilization Projects in The Southwest Planning Region of Catron, Grant,
Hidalgo and Luna Counties and A Commitment to The Operation and
Maintenance of The Project.
