LEGAL NOTICE

The Town of Silver City Council will hold their Regular Council Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Grant County Administration Center, 1400 Hwy. 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico. The public is invited to attend. The agenda will include:
Approval of Minutes: Regular Meeting – August 27, 2024, Regular Town Council Meeting
REPORTS: Allyson Siwik – Gila Resources Information Project (GRIP)
11. NEW BUSINESS:

A. Approval / Disapproval of a Public Celebration Permit: for the Octoader Fest for
October 5, 2024, with alcohol served from 11:00 am to 9:30 pm at 200 N. Bullard Street, Silver City, New Mexico. Liquor License Holder: 1) Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery, License #SBL-000032, 203 S. Mill Road, Silver City, NM 88061.
B. Approval / Disapproval of a Public Celebration Permit: for the Gila River Festival
for September 26, 2024, with alcohol served from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at 214 W. Yankie Street, Silver City, New Mexico. Liquor License Holder: 1) Open Space Brewing, License #SBL-000112, P. O. Box 2369, Silver City, NM 88062.
C. Approval / Disapproval of a Special Dispenser Permit: for the Silver City Pride Fest for September 20-21, 2024, with alcohol served on Friday September 20th from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm and on Saturday September 21st from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm at 1201 N. Pope Street, Silver City, New Mexico. Liquor License Holder: 1) Q's Southern Bistro LLC, License # DIS-001292, 101 W. College Ave, Silver City, NM 88061.
D. Approval / Disapproval of a Special Dispenser Permit: for the Autism Fest for October 12, 2024, with alcohol served from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at 101 W. College Ave, Silver City, New Mexico. Liquor License Holder: 1) Q's Southern Bistro LLC, License # DIS-001292, 101 W. College Ave, Silver City, NM 88061.
E. Approval / Disapproval of Resolution 2024-19: A RESOLUTION TO NAME THE
SILVER CITY, NEW MEXICO RECREATION CENTER THE "HENRY V. "LA
BURRA" MORALES RECREATION CENTER."
F. Approval / Disapproval of Resolution 2024-20: A RESOLUTION BY THE TOWN
OF SILVER CITY COUNCIL FOR THE APPROVAL OF A SILVER CITY
WATERWORKS LOGO.
G. Approval / Disapproval of cancellation of the September 24, 2024, Regular Town Council Meeting due to Mayor Ladner and Councilors Bencomo, Prince and Cano
attending the 2024 Outdoor Economics Conference on September 23rd through the 25th and no pending business for the September 24, 2024 Regular Town Council Meeting.
12. ADJOURNMENT
Agendas are available prior to the meeting and may be obtained at City Hall, 101 W. Broadway and City Hall Annex, 1203 North Hudson, or on the Town's website, www.townofsilvercity.org. If you have any questions regarding the public hearing, you may contact the Town Clerk at City Hall, 101 W. Broadway or call 534-6346. If you are an individual with a disability who needs a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid service to attend or participate in the hearing or meeting, contact the Town Clerk at 534-6346 at least one week prior to the meeting or as soon as possible.
