Workshop to Discuss Financial Items and Agenda

Tyrone Water and Wastewater Association

The Tyrone Water and Wastewater Association will hold a financial workshop on Monday August 4, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Tyrone Community Center 50 Malachite Avenue Tyrone, New Mexico 88065.

The agenda for the meeting may be altered up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meeting.

1. Call to Order and Declaration of a Quorum

2. Approval/disapproval of the Agenda

3. New Business

a. Report on final revenues and expenditure for Fiscal Year 2025

b. Discussion and possible action on the status of collections, methods of contacting delinquent property owners, and approach to resolving historic financial collection issues in Fiscal Year 2026.

i. 2025 Rules & Regulations and Administrative Procedures

ii. Motion to engage the services of a collection agency for accounts over 90 days in arrears.

iii. Other options to manage delinquent accounts by Board members

c. Financing projects CIF-6443, CIF-6444, and CIF-6739

d. PPRF-6659 Amortization schedule

e. Approval/disapproval of a motion to investigate the steps/phases to purchase bulk water from the Town of Silver City.  This would require that TWWA reads the meters monthly and bills the customers and collects all the revenue.

i. Modification of agreement between TWWA and TOSC

ii. Purchase accounting software to manage program

iii. Purchase and install meters

iv. Read meters electronically monthly and bill customers

v. Addition administrative duties

f. Summary of actions, recommendations, and agenda items for August 20, 2025 monthly Board meeting.
