On Saturday, October 26 at 10:30 the Jacob Bennett Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will present an American Flag that was flown over the National Society DAR historic Memorial Continental Hall in Washington DC to Silver City Mayor Ladner. The Flag Raising will be at La Capilla Park. To get to the park take Cooper to La Capilla Road and turn left into the park entrance. The event is free and open to the public.
