Throughout her life, she carried their memory close to her heart and deeply treasured the bond they all shared. Glenda graduated from Cobre High School in 1958.
Susan Bennett Montoya, age 73, with great sadness and devastation we share the sudden passing of our dear mother and wife on May 30, 2026, in Silver City, New Mexico. Born November 30, 1952, in El Paso, Texas, Susan lived a life filled with love, dedication, and an unwavering passion for education and family. Susan was the wife of Ronnie Montoya, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. Together, they built a loving home in Mimbres, New Mexico, where they raised three children: Shayne Montoya, Susan Montoya, and their late son Rusty Montoya, whose memory Susan cherished deeply. She also had three dogs, Ace, Tootsie, and Bizz who she adored.
A lifelong learner and educator, Susan earned a bachelor's degree in teaching from Western New Mexico University (WNMU) before later returning to complete her master's degree in counseling. Her career as a teacher at Cobre High School left a mark on countless lives. As a teacher and sponsor for the student council, Susan's classroom extended far beyond its walls. She treated every student with care and compassion. Her dedication to her students was unparalleled. Later in life, Susan transitioned into counseling.
Linda Darlene (Delph) Martin, 67, of Silver City passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place.
Linda was born November 1, 1958 in Silver City to Mary Linda (Bosshart) Delph.
Linda was wild, crazy, and lived life to the fullest. She was always up for an adventure. She loved RV'ing around the country and meeting new people. She loved any child or dog she met. Anyone who visited her would leave with a belly full of her delicious cooking and she would help or take care of anyone who needed it. Not only was she adventurous and caring, but she was tough. Any friend was family and she would be the first to stand up for anyone she cared about.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 47 years, Leonard Martin; children, David, Troy (Renee), and JD (Maralie) Martin, and Crystal (J.V.) Brahm; brothers, John (Cindy) and Dean Delph; her nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, lifelong friends, Linda Beck and Colleen Mathena; and the many friends she made during her RV travels.

She enjoyed baking, sewing, visiting her friends and family, and loved going on camping and road trips every summer with her husband. Sylvia had an appreciation for nature and spent many happy years nurturing her thriving indoor and outdoor plant collection. She was a loving wife, devoted mother to her three sons, proud grandmother, beloved sister, aunt, and godmother, and a dear friend to many. Sylvia will be remembered for her laughter, love, and friendship. Her presence will be deeply missed, but we take comfort in knowing she is at peace with our Lord and reunited with her loved ones.
