Freeport-McMoRan hasmoved away from the Letter of Intent (LOI) process from the past few years and will again require a single application.

Community Investment Committees (CIC) made up of local community stakeholders will continue to make funding decisions.

If your application is selected to receive funding, you will be required to submit a forecast in the True Impact system prior to receiving that funding. More information will be shared about this process in the award notification.

The following resources can be found on the Freeport-McMoRan Application Resource Page.

• An updated sample application.
• Priority Social Impact list. In order to be considered for investment in 2023, a project must address one of Freeport's Priority Social Impacts.
• A video overview of the Project Impact section of the application done by Sara Ansell at True Impact. We encourage you to watch the 11-minute video to guide to help you fully develop this aspect of your application.
• The revised, required Project Budget Template (will be linked on website soon and is attached to this email).
• Link to resources to help measure the impact of your project.

Application Timeline
May 15: Application Opens

July 14: Application Closes (5pm AZ time)

October 30: Approvals and declines sent no later than October 30
2022 Funding - Impact Reports

As a reminder, if you were awarded funding in 2022 it is likely time to update your True Impact forecast with actual impact information (this serves as your year-end report). You must submit this one month after your program end date (the deadline is different for each organization).

To update your report with actuals:
1. Navigate to https://ir.trueimpact.com/#/login
2. Log in with your email and password. If you need to reset your password, you can do so here.
3. Review your report and update it with your program's actuals. This brief 10 minute training will guide you. This Help Center is also full of helpful guidance.

Also attached is an overview of other funding opportunities the Foundation offers.
