Victoria Bailey
California Country

Victoria Bailey's songs carry us over an expansive emotional and musical terrain. Like Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton, Bailey dwells in her songs, drawing out every note of emotion with her vocal phrasing and musical range. On her new album, A Cowgirl Rides On, Bailey travels alongside Harris, Parton, Loretta Lynn, and other classics as she delivers a collection of personal, heartfelt songs that resonate universally. Awash in pedal steel, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, and guitar, the songs on A Cowgirl Rides On create an openness into which Bailey enters with her intimate vocals.

Standing Show!

Please Note this show happens on a day we are normally closed.
SUMAC is an American/Canadian post-metal supergroup that formed in 2014. SUMAC's work has always been about transition between different states of being. All this too is part of this moment in our history—everything happening at once, the simultaneous emergence of humanity's best and worst characteristics. "My hope for our family, humanity and future generations, is that we find our way by doing what we have always done—invent, adapt, band together, and ideally, hold each other up through love and kindness." The music is by no means a salve or anodyne, but neither is it nihilistic. Rather, its forceful approach and challenging timbres are like a confrontation, a baptism by fire, a therapeutic razing. Ultimately, it is a reminder of the life force that binds us together and a clarion call to be an active participant in an evolving world.
