Human beings share 98 percent of our genome with chimpanzees, 90 percent with cats and 84 percent with dogs. In other words, our animal nature is very much alive within all of us. In this 90-minute workshop, we will look at how other poets have written about animals and we will generate our own new poems through guided meditations.
