Gila Native Plant Society Program: "The Night Shift: Moths as Nocturnal Pollinators"
Presentation by Kaitlin Haase of the Xerces Society
Harlan Hall, Room 111, corner of 12th and Alabama Streets, Silver City

The work of pollination is never over—even after dark! When our day-active (diurnal) pollinators turn in for the evening, nocturnal pollinators such as moths, bats, beetles, and even some species of bees take on the night shift to feast on nectar. Join Kaitlin Haase, Southwest Pollinator Conservation Specialist with the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, to learn more about the thrilling night life of plants and pollinators and how you can support the ecology of the night.

The program is free and open to the public. Come to Harlan Hall, Room 111, on the WNMU campus. Those who prefer to join in online may request a Zoom link from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
