Bayard Volunteer Fire Department

Friday, Apr. 11

Brush fire
808 Bellm Street – 1:44 p.m.
Two lots/grass is on fire/they were inside and unsure how it got started. Caller advised it is next to 808 Bellm and spreading fast. XCPD officer – got the fire out working on mop-up – 1:59 p.m./cancel Bayard VFD.

Saturday, Apr. 12

Arson
S. Gold Street – 7 p.m.
At the end of the road off Gold a house on the back side is on fire/very end of Spring/another caller says 109 S. Gold Street. SCPD Engine 11 – get gas and power en route/page in off-shift/power and fire en route.

Sunday, Apr. 13

Brush fire
Gomez Peak – 12:55 p.m.
Brush fire in the picnic area. Second caller states grass is starting to catch fire and getting toward the road/second page to Pinos Altos VFD/PAVFD has units responding/GCFMO advised to call out Tyrone VFD and Silver City Fire Department/SCFD is already en route/SCFD requesting off-shift be paged.

Monday, Apr. 11

Smoke
610 N. Silver Street – SOS – 6:41 a.m.
Caller states he can see smoke from behind the shelter. SCPD advised white smoke coming from smoldering sawdust.

Saturday, Apr. 12

Fire-other
1410 N. Bennett Street – 7:01 a.m.
A group of people gathered around a large campfire/approximately 4' high.

Sunday, Apr. 13

Fire-other
Canal and 20th streets – 10:05 a.m.
Caller says his neighbor is burning large logs and rubbage (rubbish?) by the arroyo on the north side of 20th Street right now. SCPD advised the fire was at 805 20th Street/they were burning branches and other debris/they were advised they need a burn permit/fire was put out and units are clear.

Monday, Apr. 14

Smoke
Harvest Church – 9:23 a.m.
Caller can see smoke coming from the church building. Official advised everyone can downgrade/someone sweeping sand in the back.

Tyrone Volunteer Fire Department

Saturday, Apr. 12

Smoke
North side Mobile (Dr.?) – Silver City – 7:50 p.m.
Caller does not see flames only a lot of smoke. Tyrone VFD – negative contact with anything in Mobile.
