December 7-13, 2025
12/7/25- Deputies responded to a shots fired call on Covellite Rd. Tyrone, NM. The reporting party stated one shot was fired at his residence. At this time no suspects were named, however the description of the vehicle was given as a silver 2020-2024 Chevrolet 4 door lifted truck with black rims.
12/7/25- Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Grand Mesa Rd. Silver City, NM. After investigation charges were filed on for assault on a household member.
12/8/25- Deputies responded to an unresponsive male on Western Dr. Silver City, NM. The male was pronounced deceased shortly after. Investigators and OMI were dispatched and conduced the preliminary investigation.
12/8/25- Deputies responded to a burglary complaint on Ridge Rd. Silver City, NM. The reporting party reported someone trying to gain access into their home at approximately 0300 hrs. Deputies investigated and observed damage to a window screen.
11/10/25- Deputies served a warrant on Johnathan Proudlock at the Grant County Detention Center. The warrant was issued by Judge Runnels with a no bond set
12/11/25- Deputies contacted Andrea Hernandez at Ace Hardware. Ms. Hernandez had a warrant out of Division I with a no bond set. She was booked and housed at the Grant County Detention Center.
12/11/25- Deputies responded to a structure fire on Radio Tower Rd. The victim reported smoke coming from her closet and believes her solar batteries that are stored in her closet is what started the fire.
12/11/25- Deputies arrested Nicholas Sanchez following an attempted evasion on Highway 180 near Bayard. Sanchez fled on a bicycle and then on foot before being taken into custody. During the arrest, Sanchez stated he had a blue pill in his possession. The pill was recovered and identified as fentanyl. Sanchez was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Resisting, Evading, or Obstructing an Officer.
12/11/25- Deputies responded to a vehicle crash with no injuries reported on Hwy 15 and Meadow Creek Rd.
12/11/25- Deputies responded to a shoplifting complaint at Harbor Freight. Deputies contacted Jessica Alvo. She was arrested on two warrant and charged with concealing identity.
12/12/25- Deputies responded to a vehicle crash with no injuries reported in Mimbres.
12/12/25- Deputies responded to a larceny complaint on Royal St. Bayard, NM. Reported was a tool box with tools valued at $1741.97. Video footage was obtained and an investigation is ongoing.
12/12/25- Deputies responded to a criminal damage complaint on Prescott St. Santa Clara, NM. The victim stated someone was hitting golf balls at her home and the result one of her windows was broken. This case is pending charges on a person of interest.
12/12/25- Deputies responded to a vehicle crash with no injuries reported on Hwy 180 and Truck Bypass Rd.
12/13/25- Deputies responded to a vehicle crash (roll over) with minor injuries on Hwy 90 and Truck Bypass Rd. After investigation Elijah Wilson was arrested after being treated for his minor injures for Driving While License Suspended Revoked (122G).
12/13/25- Deputies recovered a stolen ATV on Fairway Dr. after it was spotted traveling recklessly in the area of Fairway Drive. The vehicle was confirmed stolen from Arizona and secured. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
