Set for Saturday, October 19, event includes carnival games, cake walk, face painting

Silver City, NM – The Guadalupe Montessori School is holding its fourth annual Fall Festival Fundraiser on Saturday, October 19, from noon to 4 p.m. This year's event will also include a sale of used educational materials.

Benefitting the small, not-for-profit school serving children from 18 months through 12 years, the festival features carnival games, hayrides, face painting, and cute animals to pet and pose with. The renowned Guadalupe Montessori School kitchen will dish up seasonal food and drink. A bake walk will provide lucky participants with treats to enjoy at the festival or take home.

"Our fall festival is a joyous gathering for families from across the community," said Heidi Pendleton, who is the Guadalupe Montessori School Director. "With support from generous community members, business owners and farmers, our board and parent volunteers welcome people of all ages to attend and put the 'fun' in this fundraiser."

The Guadalupe Montessori School Fall Festival FUNdraiser will be held on the school grounds at 1731 N. Alabama Street in Silver City. Admission is free. Activity prices range from $1 to $6.
