Mayor Ken Ladner will address the Silver City Rotary Club on current issues facing the city.

The Rotary Club will also present a check for $2,000 to the Indian Springs Ranch and Warriors Retreat. The money was raised from a Rotary bake sale, donations from the public, and a $1,000 match by the Silver City Rotary Foundation.

The mission of the ranch is to "provide first responders, veterans, and active-duty service members a quiet guest ranch experience utilizing equine therapy methods and scenic beauty to soothe the soul."

The Rotary Club meets every Tuesday from 12-1 p.m. for lunch in the WNMU Student Memorial Building, Second Floor, Sunset Room. There is a brief "meet and greet", a short business meeting and then the speaker has the floor. The club welcomes members of the public to the meetings. If lunch is desired, pay the cashier $14 and go through the cafeteria line. If unable to attend in person, a Zoom link for the meeting can be obtained by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
