Ray Goellner will be giving the first of a series of talks on dietary health supplements at the Rotary meeting on Tuesday 2/11/25. This will be a series of talks occurring approximately once a month for the next several months covering popular supplements, what they are indicated for, and their effectiveness.

Ray earned his BS and MS in Pharmacy from the Long Island University College of Pharmacy in NY, and his Doctorate from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy. He was a pharmacy director for 39 years in hospitals in NY, Arizona, and finally at Gila Regional Medical Center here in Silver City. He also holds a Fellowship in Healthcare Management from the Leonard Davis Institute of Heath Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has also given several talks in Japan on pharmacy practice and healthcare in the United States.

The Rotary Club meets every Tuesday from 12-1 p.m. for lunch in the WNMU Student Memorial Building, Second Floor, Sunset Room. There is a brief "meet and greet", a short business meeting and then the speaker has the floor. The club welcomes members of the public to the meetings.
