The Silver City Rotary Club will match up to $1,000 in local contributions to help support the Indian Springs Ranch, Warrior's Retreat. Donations will be matched dollar for dollar by Rotary and used to support the Warrior's Retreat helping veterans, law enforcement and first responders who have seen combat and other traumatic events heal mentally and spiritually.

"We are happy to have the opportunity to support Indian Springs Ranch located in Mimbres, NM with their mission to provide first responders, veterans, and active-duty service members a quiet guest ranch experience utilizing equine therapy methods and scenic beauty to soothe the soul".

"Many members of the club were touched by Indian Springs Ranch after owners Bill and Dalue Mize spoke to the Rotary Club of Silver City this summer. Many Rotarians agreed there is a need to provide continued support for such worthy causes, such as guest ranch experience, horse care including feed and veterinary care, lodging expenses and opportunities for expansion as a retreat. The club is planning additional fundraising events, one in the very near future" says Callaway.

Maggie Callaway, treasurer of the local Rotary Club, along with fellow Rotarians are challenging individuals, businesses, and other civic organizations to send their donations to the Silver City Rotary Foundation, at P.O.
