Library Closed April 18-20

The library will be closed for the holiday Friday, April 18 through Sunday, April 20. We will reopen 9:00am Monday, April 21.

Library Lift Install

Monday, April 21

Silver City Public Library, 515 W. College Ave., Silver City

The library will have a new lift installed starting Monday, April 21. There may be time periods when one library entrance is temporarily closed while the crew brings the lift into the library. Some sections of the library may be cordoned off during installation for safety. There may also be periods of noise while the work is being done.

We look forward to having a functional lift again! Thank you for your understanding.

Computer Class-Basics

Wednesday, April 23, 3:00-5:00pm

515 W. College Ave., Silver City

Silver City Public Library

The Silver City Public Library will hold a computer class on Wednesday, April 23, 3:00-5:00pm, covering the most essential parts of computer usage for beginners such as mouse usage, keyboard usage, and file and folder structure. Class size is limited, so sign up in person at the library or over the phone at 575-538-3672.

Not Dead Yet Club

Monday, April 28, 4:00pm-5:30pm

The Not Dead Yet Club, facilitated by Lisa Jimenez, is an end-of-life discussion group covering important topics such as memorials, burial, end-of-life options, home health care and hospice, estate planning, fears, and perspectives on afterlife. The Not Dead Yet Club is a welcoming space for learning and discussion about these significant matters, and all perspectives are valued.
