On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, Susan Beck, President of the Western Institute Board of Directors, will speak to the Rotary club.
Topic: "Western WILL Program"
The venue will be the WNMU Sunset Room, Second Floor of the Student Memorial Building, from 12-1 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public. If lunch is desired, please pay the cashier ($10.75) and go through the cafeteria line.
Susan Beck is the President of the Board of the Western Institute for Lifelong Learning, significantly as the Technology Support Chair and Vice President before becoming its President in October 2020. Previously, Beck served 24 years as an Air Force officer, achieving early promotion to the rank of Colonel, and retired from active military service at the Pentagon in 2001. She continued her career as an executive leadership coach and organizational development consultant in organizations across the country. She's married to Randy Catron, an artist, writer, chef and all-around good guy. Since 2016, when they moved to the Silver City area, they've lived on a 5-acre nature sanctuary they created, which is certified by the National Wildlife Federation.  or WILL. She joined WILL in the summer of 2017 and has served WILL in many positions.
