Law Enforcement and Dispatch are transferring to a new system this week. No longer will they have the CAD system. Getting blotters will be different for the Beat. Today we have the Grant County and the Tri-City blotters, but it was too late for Silver City's. Hopefully all will be resolved by Friday.

Bayard Police Department

Friday, Jan. 3

Criminal damage to property
N. Franey Street
Caller reports possible damage to door.

Harassment
Stewart Street
Caller advised her brother is texting and calling her telling her he is going to send someone over to beat her up/he is on narcotics heavily.

Sunday, Jan. 5

Domestic disturbance
McKee Street
Caller stated she is calling on behalf of her mother/her father is intoxicated and was fighting with her mother/unknown if it was physical. Officer – caller is at grandma's and never got physical.

Hurley Police Department

Saturday, Jan. 4

Criminal damage to property
E Street
Caller advised some children were on a go-cart and they wrecked into their trash fence/happened on Jan. 1/does not know the children or the parents.

Hot pursuit
Monte Vista and North Hurley Road
Officer requested next wrecker on rotation for yellow ATV/no keys. Male has a warrant that is extraditable. Wrecker on scene.

Santa Clara Police Department

Friday, Jan.3

Suspicious vehicle
Highway 180 – MM 119 (1 mile east of Uncle Woody's Flea Market)
Officer advised clear/she is going to take a nap.

Welfare check
Santa Clara
Caller advised he has been feeling down and made a comment about letting someone know so they do not just find his body/caller would not provide a location and hung up. Called SOS and he is not there or in the area/gave officer his phone number with negative contact.

Saturday, Jan. 4

Unwanted subject
St Helena Place
Male knocking on her windows/he is outside the trailer. Officer advised checked around the property/negative contact.

Sunday, Jan. 5

Reckless driver
Highway 180 and Oak Street
Vehicle not maintaining its lane and driving below the speed limit/just passed Dollar General. SCPD officers had contact with vehicle in Tractor Supply parking lot/everything is okay.
