Since moving to Silver City 14 years ago, they have been intrigued by the Mexico/ US border and have followed the stories connected to the wall, the events happening on both sides of the border and people whose lives are affected. "We try to tell the story of the border, one that includes both the immigrants and residents, through our photography. We feel it is important that people hear those stories" says Sandy.
FeVa Fotos' photography on the border has been shown in Santa Fe and Mancos, Colorado, as well as Washington, D.C. Beyond the shows on the borders, Sandy Feutz and Tom Vaughan have a varied portfolio of wildlife, landscapes, and events. Their photography has been featured in regional and national publications. They have been an active part of galleries, art shows and artist organizations in Colorado and Silver City.
Following the opening reception from 3 till 5 p.m. on March 14, the show will be available for viewing during regular library hours through the month of April.
