Special Screening of Midnight Midnight

AFTER Poetic Outlaw Open Mic

in 'the Lodge'

7pm.

Midnight's Midnight is the surreal, lyrically-driven debut film from @martinwgropper and @vigilantics The film follows them on a poetic exploration of time passing through lenses of love, relationship, and history. As they wander the southwestern wilderness the lines between reality, myth, and memory blur as totemic animals appear to guide them from 1947 to the present while the Doomsday clock inches closer to midnight.

This is a story told where Sylvia Plath has become a captured field mouse, Huxley a garter snake, and Marilyn Monroe a blonde baby chicken on the cover of Playboy; filmed in a world lit only by old telephone booths, antique projectors, and the fading hour before the New Mexico sun sets. What starts as a paranoid hero's journey leads them slowly to a place of understanding as loss sheds clarity on the unavoidable togetherness we share when the clock finally strikes Midnight's Midnight.

One of the last shows of the year with THREE great artists. Andrew Victor is a versatile musician known for his contributions to both folk and indie rock genres. His recent album, "Head Tilted In The Middle Of Wilderness," was released in September 2024 and is recognized as a folk masterpiece. Victor's music has been featured in various publications, including New Noise Magazine, highlighting his talent and influence in the music industry.

Andrew Victor has shared bills in the U.S. and Europe with Sharon Van Etten, Lael Neale, and Damien Jurado. His new album Head Tilted In The Middle Of Wilderness is out in Sept. on Dead Letter Records. There Are Hummingbirds Top Albums of 2024 at New Noise Magazine.

Calling Sheridan, WY home is adventurous touring musician and vegetable farmer, Joey Berglund (AKA Bar Jay Bar). Known for his wild acrobatic routines, fiddle sawing skills and high-energy live shows, Berglund is quickly making a name for himself in the neotraditional country, roots/Americana scene.

Steeped in the tradition of country blues and western swing, Pete's straight-ahead style tells the tales of the American tradition. After many thousands of miles traveling the country as a pedal steel player for honky-tonk bands, Pete has picked up guitar and is standing up to offer his take on traditional tunes as well as original ones.

Jason Dea West is an American troubadour who sings what he lives and lives what he sings. Wests' poignant lyrics are brilliantly blended with vintage country, folk and blues, and timely sensibilities. From epic guitar and harmonica instrumentals to humorous song as story, Jason never strays very far from the anarchic punk-folk roots of his beloved former band Barefoot Surrender and his celebrated current band Intuitive Compass.
