Poet and storyteller Chris Chandler is as hilarious and entertaining as he is provocative and rabble-rousing, delivering vignettes about politics and modern culture with the fire of a Baptist Preacher. His appearances are insightful tales of a world gone slightly mad, accompanied by a wide variety of musical styles. He has performed on thousands of stages across North America, working with such legendary figures as Allen Ginsberg, Pete Seeger, Mojo Nixon and Ani DiFranco. The late great Utah Phillips called Chris "the best performance poet I have ever seen."

Sunday September 22nd
Red McAdam
Honky-Tonk
Doors: 1:00pm • Free Show
Although he was born in the industrial heart of New Jersey, Red's mother Maggie made damn sure that he would be reared on folk and country music. Red's father, a lifelong bass player, taught him to play the mandolin, banjo, bass, and guitar. Forever restless, Red ventured through dozens of genres before returning to his Country roots. He ventured out West on the heels of heartbreak and made a home in the high desert of Northern Arizona where he now lives. "Red McAdam seamlessly blends the hard-earned darkness and twisted humor of a man twice his age in songs that seem to belong to every era of Country music. His roots in Northeastern family folk, coupled with his driving love affair with Western Country music present a fresh sound that simultaneously feels familiar and bizarre." ~ Donald Cutler, Honky Tonk Times
All proceeds go to paying the Performers and Supporting Live Music.

Wednesday September 25th
Roselit Bone / J Graves/ Linda From Work
Rock-n-Roll Zocalo Party!
Doors: 7:00pm • $15
Three of our Favorite Bands on One Epic Night!
After over a decade of touring, Roselit Bone have perfected an infectious and intense live show that has transfixed crowds in a nightly conversion ritual. Previously described by Oregon Public Broadcasting as "a unique type of gothic country rock that borrows heavily from Mexican ranchera music, rockabilly and the same lonely and wide-open spaces that inspired the classic Spaghetti Western scores of composer Ennio Morricone, the band – led by frontwoman Charlotte McCaslin – have deepened, shapeshifted, and outdone themselves on their fourth full-length record, Ofrenda."
J. Graves is passionate dance-punk. Tense relationship rock, sanguine lyricism, guitar music, chord changes that sound like secret longing, a rhythm section that thuds, skitters, and melts over the determined voice of Jessa Graves.
Linda From Work is a fierce rock band hailing from Seattle. Meeting at the intersection of garage, glam and dance-punk.
All proceeds go to paying the Performers and Supporting Live Music.
