Heinrich Price Hike: Home Prices And Interest Rates Hit Record Highs Because of Heinrich Policies 

JUNE 25, ALBUQUERQUE, NM—New home price data released this week reveals the American Dream of owning a home is becoming increasingly out of reach because of Democratic Senator Martin Heinrich's policies. Heinrich's reckless inflationary spending and the subsequent rise of interest rates have left New Mexicans struggling to buy a home. Heinrich's votes for trillions of dollars for reckless spending on partisan priorities led to the increase in inflation New Mexicans are experiencing today. 

Despite the reality of unaffordable homes and the fact that Heinrich's policies caused inflation and interest rate increases, he is acting like he is not to blame. New Mexican voters are not buying it.

Heinrich today on Twitter: "We need lower interest rates and more affordable housing stock. I’m fighting for both, to give more working families a shot at success and a stable future."

Reality:

Biden and Heinrich passed trillions in wasteful spending, which economists across the political spectrum warned would fuel inflation and raise costs for American families. Costs are up for nearly everything - groceries, energy, and gas - while real wages remain lower than when Biden took office. 

The bottom line: New Mexicans can't afford another term of Martin Heinrich in office. He has repeatedly put the agenda of his radical special interest cronies in Washington, DC, ahead of the New Mexican families struggling to get ahead. New Mexicans deserve better than Heinrich's failure and his higher-cost agenda.
