Calvary Church with Skip Heitzig to host Shroud of Turin exhibit in Albuquerque during Holy Week.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM—Calvary Church will unveil a free exhibit featuring a full-size, museum-quality replica of the Shroud of Turin, open to the public Saturday, April 12 through Monday, April 21, from 9 am to 4 pm (closing at 1 pm on Sundays) at their Osuna campus.

Presented in collaboration with Dr. Jeremiah J. Johnston and the Christian Thinkers Society, the exhibit includes elements that illuminate the historical context of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. Visitors will explore the mystery and meaning of the shroud through scientific findings, historical insights, and theological reflection.

Carefully prepared to precisely replicate the original fourteen by three-and-a-half-foot linen shroud, this world-renowned archaeological wonder gives viewers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to examine one of the most debated artifacts in history—believed by many to bear the image of Jesus Christ, imprinted by a miraculous and scientifically observable phenomenon.

The original Shroud of Turin is preserved and kept under restricted access in Turin, Italy. Made of linen, it contains microscopic pollen native to first-century Israel, and the wound patterns it contains match biblical accounts of Jesus' crucifixion more closely than Medieval art depictions.

Senior Pastor Skip Heitzig shared, "The scientific evidence for the Shroud's authenticity is compelling. We're thrilled to host this special exhibit so our community can see this astounding artifact—that may be part of the physical and historical evidence for Jesus' burial and resurrection—for themselves."

Admission is free, and all are invited to experience this powerful and thought-provoking exhibit during Holy Week. For full details and visiting hours, visit calvarynm.church/events.
