From Project Y to the Present: Los Alamos at the Intersection of Science and Circumstance - Free Launch Pad Lecture in October!

What: This Launch Pad Lecture: From Project Y to the Present: Los Alamos at the Intersection of Science and Circumstance will expand on the history of Robert Oppenheimer and the Manhattan Project and highlight how the remarkable events behind the Trinity test near Alamogordo resulted in the creation of one of the nation's premier global security and scientific research laboratories.

When: Friday, October 4, from 9 am - 10 am.

Where: New Horizons Dome Theater and Planetarium, New Mexico Museum of Space History, Alamogordo, NM.

Who: Patrick Moore, Executive Director of Los Alamos National Laboratory's Bradbury Science Museum, will be presenting.
