Celebrating Achievements of Girl Scouts and Volunteers
El Paso, TX, and Odessa, TX—December 9, 2024 — Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest proudly announces its annual Ceremony of Honors, taking place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in both El Paso, TX and Odessa, TX. This inspiring event celebrates the achievements of outstanding Girl Scouts and the dedicated volunteers who make Girl Scouting possible.

The Ceremony of Honors will recognize Girl Scouts who have earned the prestigious Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards, the highest honors in Girl Scouting—and celebrate the contributions of exceptional volunteers whose service has shaped the lives of young leaders across the region.

Honoring Girls and Volunteers
Girl Scouts earning the Gold Award will be celebrated for their efforts to address critical issues in their communities through innovative and sustainable projects. The Bronze and Silver Awards recognize younger Girl Scouts for their leadership and service initiatives.

The event will also spotlight volunteers receiving special recognition for their contributions, including the Volunteer of Excellence Award, Appreciation Pin, and other honors. These awards celebrate individuals who have gone above and beyond to support Girl Scouts, mentor girls, and strengthen local programs.
