Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, representatives of The University of New Mexico Health System, and the Reproductive Health Care Success Project.

10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 5  - 4419 E. Lohman Ave., Las Cruces, New Mexico

BACKGROUND:
When opened, the Center will provide the following services:

Medication and procedural abortion

Miscarriage management

Range of contraception options including IUDs implants, emergency contraception, and hormonal and barrier contraception options

Pregnancy loss support and management

Lactation support

Women's Preventative care, sexually transmitted infection and cancer screenings

Adoption education and resources

Limited Primary Care including: STI screenings, cervical cancer screenings, checkups for sexual health care

Doula Support

Southern New Mexico is an area of the state where expansion of this type of clinical health care is critically needed. Additionally, these services will be available to residents of Texas and other states who currently face legal restrictions or bans.

This event will be heavily secured by law enforcement. Do not announce this event to your audiences, doing so could potentially place event attendees in danger. This event is not open to the public. Invited guests will be required to show a government issued photo ID. Due to safety concerns, we respectfully request you do not share the exact location of the future clinic with your audiences.
