Momentum continues as Nella's $2.91 million far outpaces Heinrich's $1.85 million
Albuquerque, NM - Nella Domenici's largest fundraising of any U.S. Senate candidate in New Mexico political history far exceeded Martin Heinrich's second quarter fundraising numbers. Waiting until the very last moment to file and publicize his fundraising numbers, Heinrich posted only $1.85 million, the smallest total for a candidate in any of the competitive U.S. Senate races. Heinrich trails Nella Domenici's $2.91 million raised.

"Nella Domenici has the resources and grassroots support to win, while Heinrich is losing ground and his support is slipping," said Nella for Senate campaign manager Noah Jennings. "Momentum on the ground, polling, and now fundraising numbers all tell the same story: Nella Domenici is on track to win this race as more New Mexico voters learn about Heinrich's decades of failure."

Nella's dominant fundraising quarter comes on the heels of two pre-presidential debate polls showing the New Mexico U.S. Senate race statistically tied or nearly tied. National Journal reported on one poll last week that showed the race for U.S. Senate was a statistical tie. Nella was winning independents and Hispanics in the most recent poll.
