Spring is in full bloom at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum, and we have an exciting new exhibit and news to share with you!

  • New Exhibit: AgrAbility– Opened on Jan. 23, this exhibit explores how farmers and ranchers with disabilities innovated and adapted to continue their agriculture careers through the AgrAbility program resources. Find this exhibit in the Traditions/Legacy Gallery.

  • Her Land: Women in Agriculture – Emma Jean Cervantes will be featured in this rotating exhibit at the Musuem this June. In early May, our curatorial team will be installing a comprehensive version of the exhibit in the Governor’s Gallery in Santa Fe. Come see this exhibit in southern and/or northern New Mexico!

  • Moon Tree – The Museum was selected to provide a home for a Lobolly pine seed that traveled to the Moon on the Artemis 1 mission. This Moon Tree seedling is now planted in the Discovery Garden and was publicly unveiled on April 11.

  • Staff Updates – Over this fall and winter, the Museum welcomed three new staff members: Curator Brittany Porter, PR Specialist Alison Penn, and Event Coordinator Luke Keith. This spring, Exhibits Designer Eric Kirker, Fabricator/Woodworker Gregory Chavez, and Farmworker Jesus Garcia joined the team. Contact our staff here

  • Now Hiring – We are still on the search for an Executive Director, so share with folks who would love to work with us.
