SANTA TERESA – The New Mexico Department of Transportation held its 2nd public involvement meeting to introduce the purpose and needed improvements to the NM 136 Interchange in Dona Ana County, NM. If you missed the meeting, it's not too late!

What is the purpose?

The objective of the study is to improve operational and safety issues, increase mobility, and enhance economic development.

What is the Need?

The need is to determine the level of access required to create a free-flow freight corridor along NM 136 from the Santa Teresa Port of Entry (POE) to Interstate 10 (I-10).

How can you be involved?

The feedback we receive will help us understand more about your needs with the interchange and the issues and conditions you think are important to consider.
