Statewide, NM—During 2024, New Mexico State Police held eight community meetings throughout the state, where members of the community could gather to share their concerns, chat one-on-one with officers, and engage in an open dialogue about public safety in their communities.
New Mexico State Police held these meetings in Farmington, Hatch, Velarde, Grants, T or C, Lordsburg, Springer, and Gallup. They will continue throughout 2025 across the state, providing a platform for attendees to voice concerns, ask questions, and allow officers to build trust, strengthen relationships, and enhance transparency with the public.
Community members are encouraged to attend these meetings to connect with NMSP officers and make their voices heard so we can continue to effect positive change in New Mexico communities.
