(Albuquerque, NM) – The PNM Foundation recently awarded Reduce Your Use Grants to 48 local nonprofits looking to make energy-saving upgrades that directly support their operations and the communities they serve.
More than $250,000 was awarded to the selected organizations. These funds will be used for projects such as insulating locations, updating heating and cooling systems, upgrading to energy efficient lighting, purchasing energy efficient appliances or even solar panel installations.

Daily Bread Organization
Goodwill Industries of New Mexico

Since the Reduce Your Use grant became available in 2008, PNM's Foundation has provided more than $4 million to local nonprofits to help them save money and energy.
The Reduce Your Use Grants are one part of the $1.3 million funding provided by the company's Foundation in 2025 to support local nonprofits across New Mexico and Texas. This commitment reflects the Foundation's mission to strengthen communities through education, environmental sustainability and economic development. The PNM Foundation is a separate, nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation governed by a board of directors comprised of employee volunteers. No customer funds are part of the PNM Foundation endowment.
