(Washington, D.C., June 12, 2025) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L. Rollins signed the World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report. This is prepared monthly by the World Agricultural Outlook Board (WAOB) and provides market-moving annual forecasts for supply and use of U.S. and world wheat, rice, coarse grains, oilseeds, and cotton.
"American agriculture leads the world and the agricultural industry relies on the gold standard statistics and analysis in USDA reports. It is a privilege to sign this critical market report put together by the expert researchers and market analysts at USDA who work tirelessly to give farmers the data they need to anticipate how American goods will be exported with the world," Secretary Rollins.
Secretary Rollins has also reinstated the July Cattle Report and the County Estimates for Crops and Livestock such as corn, cotton, peanuts, rice, sorghum, and soybeans that the Biden-Harris Administration recklessly cancelled last year. Farmers and ranchers rely on these critical reports to provide important data needed to make decisions about their operations.
USDA is committed to providing timely, accurate, and useful statistics in service to U.S. agriculture. This includes releasing regular reports, like the one signed by Secretary Rollins today, that are widely respected and anticipated across the agricultural sector to provide a premier and unbiased look at current market conditions.
