$15.1 Million roadway rehabilitation project on US 70 West of Las Cruces
Nighttime work beginning April 7
LAS CRUCES - The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office in cooperation with Mesa Verde Enterprises, Inc. (Contractor) is excited to announce the $15.1M upcoming roadway rehabilitation project on US 70 from Del Rey Blvd. (milepost 150.95) to Nasa Rd. (milepost 161.43) just east of Las Cruces, NM.
Beginning Sunday, April 7, 2024, and lasting approximately 200 working days, crews will begin removing and replacing outdated guardrail, curb & gutter from Nasa Rd., working west towards Las Cruces. Working hours will be from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m., Sunday through Friday. Once complete, crews will then shift into paving operations and will begin the mill and inlay process. Working hours will be from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday to Friday. Traffic control and lanes closures will be in place for the safety of our crews and the traveling public during working hours.
