Interstates:
I-25 Roadway Rehabilitation Project, Mile Marker 58 to 78, Caballo
Mountain States Constructors, Inc. (Contractor) will be continuing a roadway rehabilitation project on Interstate 25 from milepost 58(Caballo) to milepost 78 (Las Palomas) in Sierra County. Drivers can expect various daytime lane closures on the Northbound Driving Lane, Southbound Passing Lanes. There will be temporary On/Off ramp closures at Exit 63, Southbound, for milling and paving operations. A 12' width restriction is in place throughout the project, oversize loads will require a permit. The contractor's hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

I-25, Transmission Line Installation, Mile Marker 89 & 106, north of T or C
Sun Zia (Contractor) will have intermittent road closures on I-25 at milepost 89 & 106 for transmission line pulling. Traffic may be held for 15 minutes at a time with a flagger operation. This work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. This project is expected to be completed by March 30, 2025.

I-25 & University Ave and Triviz Dr., Bridge Preservation Project, Las Cruces
Hasse Contracting Company Inc. (Contractor) has begun a bridge preservation project on the University Ave and Triviz Dr. bridges at I-25. Weekend only lane closures and a flagging operation will be in place Saturday to Sunday and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. This project is expected to be completed by April 14, 2025.

I-25 at Missouri Ave, Bridge Preservation Project, Las Cruces
Hasse Contracting Company Inc. (Contractor) will be beginning a bridge preservation project on the I-25 Bridge over Missouri. Work is expected to begin on April 9th last approximately 2 to 3 days, working hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. This project is expected to be completed by April 12, 2025.

I-10 EB to I-25 NB, Bridge Preservation Project, Las Cruces
Hasse Contracting Company Inc. (Contractor) will be beginning a bridge preservation project on the I-10 eastbound off ramp to I-25 northbound on ramp. The ramp will be closed with traffic being detoured to exit 151. Work is expected to begin on April 14th last approximately 2 to 3 days, working hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. This project is expected to be completed by April 17, 2025.

I-10 Westbound Roadway Closure, Mile Marker 24, Lordsburg
The I-10 lanes and bridge at Exit 24 near Lordsburg, NM, are closed and will remain closed after being struck by a commercial vehicle carrying an excavator. Westbound traffic is being rerouted off and back on at the exit ramp, no delays for eastbound traffic. Expect delays, follow the road closure signs and avoid the area if possible. Vehicles and pedestrians in the work zone pose a hazard to both maintenance personnel and the public, delaying repairs and creating unsafe conditions.

I-10 Roadway Rehabilitation Project, Mile Marker 64 to 75, Deming CN1101890
Mountain States Constructors, Inc. (Contractor) will be continuing a roadway rehabilitation project on Interstate 10 from milepost 64 (Gage) to milepost 75 (just west of Deming) in Luna County. Drivers can expect various daytime lane closures on both the eastbound and westbound lanes as needed for rubble strip and striping operations. A 12' width restriction is in place throughout the project, oversize loads will require a permit. Overnight lane closure may be in place for the placement of the concrete wall barrier and guardrail installations. Areas of construction may be heavily congested. The contractor's hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

I-10 Roadway Resurfacing Project, Mile Marker 146 to 164.3, Las Cruces to Anthony
Brasier Asphalt Inc., (Contractor), will be continuing with the resurfacing project in Dona ana Co. Starting at 5 p.m., drivers can expect lane closures in the eastbound and westbound passing and middle lanes between milepost 152(Mesquite) to milepost 159 (just west of the Anthony exit). The project involves the removal and replacement of pavement. Work will take place from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Friday. The project is expected to be completed by Friday, June 27, 2025, weather permitting.

I-10 Bridge & Roadway Rehabilitation Project, Mile Marker 140 to 143, Las Cruces CNLC00371
La Calerita Construction, LLC. (Contractor) will be continuing a bridge rehabilitation project on I-10 over the University Ave Interchange, milepost 141. This project includes bridge rehabilitation, roadway reconstruction and lighting. Traffic has been shifted into the westbound lanes with the eastbound lanes closed for bridge construction. There will be no access to the eastbound on/off ramps and due to restricted areas in the westbound on ramp will be closed for the duration of the traffic switch. The speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH throughout the project. Expect delays on Main St and University Ave below the I-10 Bridges. The contractor's working hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

US Roadways:
US 70 Roadway Rehabilitation, Mile Marker 149 to 150 Las Cruces LC00271
El Terrero Construction, LLC. (Contractor) is continuing a project to make roadway improvements to US 70 North Main Street between Spitz/N. Solano Drive and the intersection of N. Triviz Drive/Elks Drive. All traffic has been placed on the new eastbound lanes of US 70 (2 lanes open eastbound and 1 lane open westbound) and the existing westbound lanes will be closed for construction. Crews are scheduled to pave the inside two lanes of westbound US 70/North Main Street beginning in the morning of Wednesday, March 26, 2025, and lasting through Saturday, March 28, 2025. During this work, only one outside lane of US 70/North Main Street will be open between Elks Drive and North Solano/Three Crosses Road. Triviz Drive will be closed at US 70/North Main Street from 9 p.m. Friday, March 28 through 6 a.m. Saturday, March 29 for milling and paving. Northbound traffic on US 70/North Main Street can turn east on North Solano Drive, then northeast on E. Madrid Avenue to access N. Triviz Drive. The Alameda Arroyo Trail crossing remains closed. Westbound US 70/North Main Street has one lane open from Elks Drive to south of the Alameda Arroyo Bridge, then two lanes open to Spitz Ave. Eastbound US 70/Main Street has two lanes open from N. Solano Drive to N. Triviz Drive. Access will be maintained to all businesses and residences during construction. The speed limit is reduced to 35 miles per hour throughout the construction zone. Motorists are encouraged to use extra caution in the construction zone, obey lower posted speed limits and allow extra time to reach their destinations. Regular work hours are Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m., although the contractor may work longer hours or on weekends if needed. US 70 Roadway Rehabilitation, Mile Marker 162 to 150, Las CrucesLC00440
Mesa Verde Enterprises, Inc. (Contractor) US 70 from MP 153 to 161 (Mesa Grande to town of Organ) is now in winter suspension, all lanes are open.

US 180 Roadway Reconstruction Project, Mile Marker 123 to 128, Hurley, CN#1101841
Mountain States Constructors, Inc., (Contractor) will be continuing with the roadway reconstruction project along US 180 from 123.13 in Bayard to milepost 128.27 in Hurley. The detour at the railroad tracks is now in operation. Drivers should anticipate daytime lane closures in both the eastbound and westbound lanes as necessary. A flagging operation will be in place with up to a 15-minute wait time. Please be aware that Lime Quarry Rd has a new traffic pattern in place, caution is advised as you travel through the area. The contractor's working hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. This reconstruction project is expected to take just over a year to complete, depending on weather conditions. Speed limits are reduced throughout the project to 45 mph, this project is a double fine zone.

US 180 & Caddel Crossing Intersection, Mile Marker 122, Santa Clara
Southwest Concrete & Paving Inc. (Contractor) will be completing a roadway construction rehabilitation project at the intersection of US 180 at mile post 122 and Caddel Crossing. Drivers can expect various lane closures and possible detours. The contractors' hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

US 180, Mile Marker 90 to 110, west of Silver City
Dustrol, Inc (contractor) will begin a Hot-In-Place Recycling project along US 180 near Glenwood, NM. Traffic can expect lane closures beginning at milepost 87(Riverside) to milepost 110 (west of Silver city). A pilot car operation will be in place, please reduce your speed and obey traffic control devices. Work will take place Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Construction is expected to be completed by May 16, 2025, weather pending.

State Roadways:
NM 101, University Ave Multimodal Project, Mesilla LC00290
La Calerita Construction, LLC. (Contractor) will be continuing the multi-modal project on University Avenue/New Mexico State Road 101 from Avenida de Mesilla to South Main Street. The roadway near the Laguna Lateral will be closed for the removal and reconstruction of the concrete box. A detour will redirect traffic from Avenida de Mesilla, W Union Ave, to McDowell Place. Drivers can expect various daytime lane closures near the intersection of Avenida de Mesilla and University Ave replacing the old sidewalk adding in ADA ramps and removing fencing throughout the project. The contractor's hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

NM 52, Transmission Line Installation, Mile Marker 9.3, Cuchillo
Sun Zia (Contractor) will have intermittent road closures on NM 52 at milepost 9.3 for transmission line pulling. Traffic may be held for 15 minutes at a time. This work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 am to 6 p.m. This project is expected to be completed by March 31, 2025.

NM 404 Bridge at I-10, Bridge Preservation Project, Mile Marker 162, Anthony
Hasse Contracting Company Inc. (Contractor) has begun a bridge preservation project on the NM 404 bridge at Ohara Rd. over I-10. Lane closures and a flagging operation will be in place. Work is expected to begin on April 7th last approximately 2 to 3 days, working hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. This project is expected to be completed by April 10, 2025.

Chip Seal Projects, Hidalgo & Grant Co:
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) "Fog Sealing and Brooming" operations will continue in Hidalgo Co. as soon as temperatures allow. Speed limits will remain reduced. NM 81 & NM 146 are scheduled to be sealed and striped as soon as temperatures allow.

City of Las Cruces Projects:
Casa Linda Acres Subdivision
As part of the Casa Linda Acres Reconstruction Project, Spartan Construction of NM, LLC, will be maintaining road closures on Avenida Blanco from South Valley Drive to Calle Del Encanto, and on Calle Del Sol from Avenida de Mesilla to West Brown Road. Closures will be implemented through June 28, 2025. Access will be maintained for residents; motorists are urged to follow all posted signs.

East Mesa Roads & Drainage - Cortez Drive Improvements
As part of the Cortez Drive Improvements, roadway, storm drainage, and utility improvements will be conducted by Caliper Construction (Contractor) on Cortez Drive between Porter Drive and Dunn Drive. Cortez will be closed to through traffic. Detours will be in place directing traffic around the road closure. Access will be maintained for residents; motorists are urged to follow all posted signs. The entire project is estimated to be completed by December 2025.
