Longtime PNM employees Laurie Williams and Omni Warner have been promoted to senior leadership positions at the utility, bringing deep company expertise and lifelong ties to New Mexico to these key positions.
Laurie Williams, holding a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from New Mexico State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico, has been named Senior Vice President of PNM Integrated Planning and Transmission Development.
Omni Warner, with a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in electrical engineering from New Mexico State University, is PNM's new Senior Vice President of Operations.
"Laurie's and Omni's strong connections to New Mexico and extensive experience will serve our customers well as we plan for the future," said Don Tarry, PNM CEO. "Over their years at PNM, they have each developed a leadership approach centered on empowering our teams with the mindset and resources to improve our customers' experience every day."
"Every decision we make at PNM is guided by our commitment to our customers," said Omni Warner, who will now lead customer operations and the electric power system for PNM.
"New Mexico has incredible potential through renewable energy," said Laurie Williams. "If we can develop the transmission infrastructure to move this energy where customers need it, we'll be able to fully realize the vision of New Mexico's Energy Transition Act and benefit PNM customers along with the state more broadly."
Warner and Williams each began their PNM career in engineering positions, Williams in 1992 and Warner in 2011, and have progressed through growing leadership roles with the utility. These latest promotions advance them to the highest levels of operational leadership at PNM.
