MoralesRubenRuben Morales, 32, a resident of Santa Clara, NM, entered eternal rest Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, NM.  He was born on May 10, 1991 to his parents, Arnulfo and Esther (Sotelo) Morales in Silver City, New Mexico.

Ruben Morales was a Beloved family man. He was cherished by his children, partner, family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all of his children, who he had his own special connection with. Being a listening therapist, spoiler of all his princesses, a partner of his buddies, loving to his papicito and candy filled suitcase carrying uncle.

Persevering his way to manager of Family Dollar made him a loved and well-known member of the community. He was a big kid at heart, enjoying hunting, fishing, four wheeling, endless pranks on his family members, lighting fireworks all year around and stopping at the splash park to cool off after a long day. A diehard Raiders fan, lover of cars, his Cadillac and bumping his music.

His passion was watching his children grow, and participate in sports. He loved hanging out at Mom and Dad's porch, enjoying family meals, and being spoiled by his Mamacita Chula. Ruben was genuine, respectful, compassionate, supportive person, who had a continuous smile, with a positive energy, and who lived life to the fullest. His time with us on Earth was all too short but he showed us through his actions true love, selflessness and how to be a good-hearted person.  He will be deeply missed by all.

He is survived by his parents; by his companion, Aisleen Tafoya of Silver City, NM; his four sons, Ruben Morales, Jr. of Santa Clara, NM, Miguel Morales of Santa Clara, NM, Ezekiel Morales of Santa Clara, NM, Matthew Garcia of Silver City, NM; his three daughters, Monique Morales of Santa Clara, NM, Nevaeh Morales of Santa Clara, NM, Athiah Garcia of Silver City, NM; his brother Arnulfo Morales, Jr. (fiancé-Jessica Sopiwnik) of Arenas Valley, NM; his sister, Vanessa M.
