Allan attended Carson Long Military Academy during his later high school years in Missouri. Upon graduation, he entered the Army and served his country for 15 years. He served in Missouri, Massachusetts, Germany and in Saudi Arabia during the Persian Gulf War, ending his career in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
