ReynoldsBruceBruce Wayne Reynolds, 78, longtime Deming resident passed away peacefully Monday, September 23, 2024, per his wishes, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. As per his request cremation will take place and has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory.

Bruce was born January 09, 1946, in Pontiac, Michigan to Merle Reynolds and Betty Nail. He moved to Deming in 1963 where he resided on and off for almost 40 years. Bruce served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era from 1964 to 1970 and was stationed abroad much of that time including Germany. He was employed as an Engineer by Quest Communications, where he retired after 30 plus years with the phone company. With a strong Christian faith, he spent much of his life as a biblical student and mentor to others. Bruce had a creative side which included woodworking and welding in his shop. He loved being on his tractor completing household chores and helping others with community projects. He enjoyed sports, particularly coaching his girls in baseball and softball for many years. Bruce was many things, but he will be remembered as a truly unselfish, caring, sensitive person and role model to all. Above all else he will always be cherished as a very loving and caring father.

Survivors include his 3 daughters, Jenny (Ron) Hood, April (Sean) Craig, and Kim (Chris) Jackson; 2 siblings, Shaun (Liz) Reynolds and Nadine Cisneros, and his grandchildren, Brad, Stephen, Cameron, Shelby, Connor, Kyle, and Karlie. As well as his dog Tomista who was always by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle, and Betty Nail Rys; his stepmother, Dorothy Reynolds and a brother, Clark Reynolds.
