Chancell Neal Teague, 86, a resident of Silver City, NM, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Gila Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 1, 1938 to his parents Redden Mortimer and Minnie Irene (Carleton) Teague in Hobbs, NM.Â
Chancel retired from the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as an Engineer after 41 years. He was very good at his job and those that worked with him, enjoyed being on his train. He also loved Square Dancing and being a caller. He and Connie had many years of enjoyment with this activity. Chancel loved visiting with his friends and family and when his health declined, he stayed in touch with them through emails. He would send inspirational quotes to everyone. He looked forward to checking his emails on a regular basis. Chancel loved his family and he would spend time in prayer for each family member. He would begin on one side of the country and work his way across each and every state, praying for his family. When his time came, he was ready to be with Jesus.
He will be greatly missed.
