Dawn Colleen Cowles-Kammerer, a resident of Hurley, NM entered eternal rest Monday, April 28, 2025 at the age of 52, surrounded by her loved ones.  She was born on April 2, 1973, to her parents Paul and Garienan (McCreedie) Cowles in Anchorage, Alaska. 

Dawn became an English teacher, took an amazing life for her students, she worked hard to make sure her students were never left behind. Dawn was very religious, as a dedicated Christian she loved hearing the word of the lord reading the bible, and clarifying it to her family. She loved sharing stories of her fishing trips and other fun times in her life.

Dawn is survived by her son Dylan Cowles; her grandkids Dante, Daya, and Sora; her nephews Eric (Diane), Roman, Zayden, Max, Isaiah, Cruzzito, Eric Jr, and George Rodriguez; her niece, Analyssia Rodriguez.  God gave us the best gifts with in Dawn we not only found a mother, and a sister but a friend, auntie, and grandma.

We could not thank her enough for the love, prayers, comfort, trust, time, and support she had given us. We were blessed to have our time with her and I will always speak of the fun memories we made, everything she taught me, and all of the gift and love she showed me. She answered in God's hands and showed us love. Dawn Cowles Rodriguez is forever in our hearts. We thank our Lord and Savior for the best angle given to us here on earth.
