With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dylan Brice Holliday, a U.S. Navy Veteran, who entered eternal rest Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Gila Regional Medical Center.  Born on June 19, 1989.  He is survived by his mother, Terri Scott; his siblings, Shawmaree (Tim) Motes, DeeCee Spurgeon, William (Megan) Spurgeon, Cassidy Holliday and Cody Holliday; his nieces Aaliyah and Makayla Spurgeon, Baylee, McKynna and Maggie Motes; his nephews, Ezekial (Little Dee) Spurgeon and Reece Holliday.  Dylan's life was marked by kindness, generosity and a deep love for family and friends. 

Life and Legacy

Dylan was a beacon of light to all who knew him.  His journey began in a close-knit community, where he cultivated lifelong friendships and cherished bonds.  As a child, Dylan's curiosity and enthusiasm were evident in everything he did, from academic pursuits to his athletic endeavors. 

Career and Passions

Dylan achieved great success in his professional life serving in the U.S. Navy for 12 years.  He was recognized for his dedication and commitment, always striving for excellence in his field.  His colleagues remember him as an inspiring and supportive team member, always ready to lend a helping hand. 

Family and Friends

Dylan's family was the cornerstone of his life.  He was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend, always putting their needs above his own.  His love and support for his family were unwavering and he found immense joy in spending time with them.  Dylan's warmth and generosity extended to his friends, who considered him a true confidant and companion. 

In Memoriam

Dylan Brice Holliday's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled.  His legacy of kindness, compassion and zest for life will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.  As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the indelible mark he left on our lives. 

May Dylan's soul find peace and his memory live on forever in our hearts. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:30am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels (Santa Clara, NM) with Pastor Tim Heyer officiating.  Following the service, Dylan will be laid to rest at 1:00pm at Fort Bayard National Cemetery where he will receive Full Military Honors.
