Frank Moises Ogas, 64, a lifelong resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest from Major Neurocognitive Disorder, on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Silver City Care Center in Silver City, NM. He was born on August 15, 1960 to his parents, Elijio and Margaret (Martinez) Ogas in Las Cruces, NM.
Frank had earned an Associate's Degree and worked mostly as a Journeyman Plumber. He was a member of the Royal Impressions Car Club and also loved fishing, camping and riding his Harley was his therapy. He was an avid Steelers Fan. We are grateful for all the doctors, nurses, therapists and caregivers that helped him with his illness.
He is survived by his wife, Heidi Ogas; his mother; his one son; his one daughter; his brothers, Steve Ogas (Vicky), Tom Ogas (Amy), Orlando Ogas, Leo Ogas (Leona); his sisters, Anna Madrid and Martha Medrano; his four grandchildren; his numerous nieces and nephews; his two Godchildren. He was preceded in death by his father; his infant brother, Tommy Ogas (1957).
Visitations will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 5:00pm-6:00pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the Holy Rosary commencing at 6:00pm, reciting Deacon Art Gutierrez. The funeral mass will be the following day on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Father Ephraim Ezulike officiating. The inurnment will happen at a later date. Pallbearers are Manny Chacon, Ramon Flores, Pete Magdaleno, Joey Lopez, Richard Portillo, Deshaun Epps. Honorary Pallbearers are Orlando Ogas, Charles Salas, Alex Jasso, Scott Stockley, Mark Valadez.
