It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Schultz on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the age of 74. Larry began his life on April 23, 1950, twenty minutes before his twin sister, Lynnette.
Larry found joy in every aspect of his life. He was a creative artist, an avid golfer, sportsman and Dallas Cowboy fan. He graduated from NMSU with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He used these skills throughout his professional life in the HVAC business that he and his dad owned in Deming.
His greatest love was his family. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol Schultz. They have three children who share their dad's sense of humor, love for fun and kind hearts, Michael of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Melissa of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Matthew of Santa Cruz, California.
He is also survived by his father, Walter Schultz; twin sister, Lynnette Harris (Robert); sister, Nancy Patterson (Richard); sister, Cindy Solis and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a whole community of friends. He is predeceased by his mother, Clara Schultz.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:00am at the First United Methodist Church in Deming with Mike Hofacket officiating. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory.
