Maria Dolores "Lola" Rodriguez, 89, a resident of Hurley, NM entered eternal rest Monday, November 24, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 14, 1935 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico to Gaspar Sanchez and Soledad Perches.
She is survived by one son, Peter Rodriguez and wife Pancho Gallup; her daughter, Patricia "Patsy" Ramos and husband Gabriel; one daughter in-law, Eleanor Rodriguez; sister in-law, Lourdes Sanchez; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and fourteen great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Joe Rodriguez ('2007); her daughter, Lorraine Rodriguez; her son, David Rodriguez; her brother, Javier Sanchez; three sisters, Ana Maria Sanchez, Rosario Araujo, and Martha Ramos.
Visitation will be Monday, December 1st at 9:30-10:30am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary to commence at 10:30 with Deacon Art Gutierrez reciting. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:30pm at Hurley Infant Jesus Shrine with Father Casmir Anozie officiating. Concluding service, the holy committal will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest by her husband Joe. Pallbearers are Gabriel James Ramos Jr., Colton Allen, Jonathan Rodriguez, Joey Huerta, David Roybal, and Ricky Roybal Jr.
