JaramilloMaria Maria Elena "Nena" Marquez Jaramillo born on September 10, 1948 in Pena Blanca, Chihuahua, Mexico and was received by our Lord on January 7, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona.

Nena was beloved by all who knew her for her gracious nature and kind personality. She loved hosting family at home and would make the best food from the heart. She dedicated her life as a homemaker to creating a peaceful, welcoming, and loving home. She was the strong and steady support behind her husband and was there through thick and thin. Anyone who knew Nena, knew she had a passion for casinos, win or lose and enjoyed going with friends and family.

Nena was a kind and loving wife, mother, sister, and friend and left us all the better for being part of our lives.

She is survived by her loving husband, Reynaldo Jaramillo of the family home; her son, Gabriel Jaramillo and her daughter, Valerie Jaramillo; six grandchildren; and two sisters, LaLa (Cristobal) and Ramona (Horacio). She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Vicki and Rosalba; three brothers, Pepe, Jose de la Luz, and Julian.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15th from 9:30-10:30am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary to commence at 10:30am with Deacon Bill Holguin reciting. The funeral mass will follow at 12noon at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Ephraim Ezulike officiating. The inurnment will take place Thursday, January 17th at 1pm at Fort Bayard National Cemetery. Pallbearers are Sergio Salas, Gabriel Jaramillo, Marcus Jaramillo, Jose Jaramillo Jr., Barney Jaramillo, Michael Jaramillo.
