MooreMIt is with profound and heartfelt sadness that we share the passing of a true gentleman, Marshall Moore, who passed away at home on Monday, January 15th, 2024. Marshall was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Words will never fully capture the love, support, and meaning he provided to his family and to innumerable others whose lives he touched.

A psychologist by training, Marshall was a lifelong innovator in education. His career path included public school administrator, university faculty member, educational consultant, and private practitioner. Marshall never feared challenging creative boundaries or reexamining the rules guiding successful student learning.

In his retirement years as an alumnus of WNMU, Marshall volunteered his time and expertise in many areas, especially towards supporting the students through the WNMU Alumni Foundation. Marshall is preceded in death by son Robbie Moore and wife Sandra Cobb Moore.

He is survived by daughter Tracey Eldridge (husband Steve Eldridge) sons Eric (wife Michiko) and Scott Moore. Grandchildren Sandy Moore, Kiersten Maitlen, John Robert Kear, and Breanna Maitlen, and great grandchildren Addalynn, Airianna, and Draven. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra Cobb Moore; his parents, Roy and Jewel Houser Moore.  The legacy he left his loved ones is profound.
