AndazolaMary Mary Lou Andazola passed away on February 24th in El Paso, TX surrounded by her family. She was born on March 21, 1935 to her parents Louis and Francis Gonzales in Fierro, NM.

Mom always put her family first. She enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone who came to visit. She also enjoyed watching her favorite TV channels, the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune; but the best one was the Hallmark Channel. Her pastime was doing crossword puzzles. She was an avid Cubs fan. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Michael Andazola, Robert (Vicki) Andazola, Sonny Andazola, Ruben (Molly) Andazola, Jerry (Josie) Andazola, Jimmy (Burl) Rivera, and Manny (Esmeralda) Rivera; her daughters, Mary Eva (Dave) Soliz, Sarah (Jimmy) Sedillos, and Suzie Andazola; forty-three grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren; her three brothers, Gilbert Gonzales of Santa Ana, CA, Cruz Gonzales of Fullerton, CA and Lorenzo "Larry" Gonzales of Bayard, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Andazola, her parents, Louis and Francis Gonzales, her sister, Stella Gonzales, her daughter, Yolanda Rivera, her son, Richard Rivera, grandsons, Ray and David Andazola.

Visitations will be held on Monday March 3, 2025 at 5:30pm-6:00pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels, with the Holy Rosary commencing at 6:00pm, recited by Deacon Art Gutierrez. The Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 11:30pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Martin Okonkwo officiating. Following the mass, she will be laid to rest at Fort Bayard National Cemetery, with her love, Antonio at 1:00pm. Pallbearers are her sons, Michael, Robert, Sonny, Ruben and Jerry Andazola, Manny and Jimmy Rivera, and Michael Peru. Honorary pallbearers are all her grandsons.
