MaciasNaomiNaomi Briana Macias, 31, Deming resident passed away peacefully on Monday, December 1, 2025 surrounded by her loving family in El Paso, TX.

A Celebration of Naomi's life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca's Mimbres Crematory.

Naomi was born March 10, 1994 in Silver City, New Mexico to Daniel Macias and Amalia Romayor. She was never one to seek attention, or be the center of attention but she had a distinct and contagious laugh that could be recognized by many and would light up a room with her smile and beautiful hazel eyes. Her vibrant personality was evident in her glam make up and dyed hair as well as her extravagant nails. Naomi was adventurous and brave, ready to pick up and go at any time. She was also very generous and kind to those she cared about, always ready, and willing to lend a hand to those in need. She had a deep love for music that she expressed through dance during her childhood learning and performing ballet, tap and ballet folklorico as well as playing the violin and joining mariachi in high school. She was loyal to her faith as one of Jehovah Witnesses. Naomi loved her loyal dog Puma and enjoyed taking him for long walks where she often looked for mushroom growing in the grass but she loved her family even more.

She loved her niece and nephew like they were her own and loved spending time with family and never went a day without calling home. Every day one of her favorite things to do was call every one of her family members from talking to Dad, then Mom, then her sister then her brother-in-law to her nephew and niece, demonstrating her love and affection. Naomi will be deeply missed by the many lives she touched.

Naomi is survived by her parents Daniel "Danny" and Amalia Macias; her sister, Sara Marie (Eric) Holguin; as well as her nephew and niece Eric David and Isha Marie Holguin. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Martin Romayor Sr.

Serving as Naomi's Honorary Bearers will be Eric Holguin, Eric David Holguin, Ruben Hernandez, Martin Romayor Jr., Luis Villegas, Nathaniel Renteria, Nicholas Macias, Gabriel Macias, and her cousins.
